What is FPL Rivals?
A free head-to-head comparison tool for Fantasy Premier League. Enter two team names and it builds the full rivalry: the head-to-head record between your teams, captaincy and chip analysis, rank journeys, bench tragedies, a verdict with receipts, and share cards made for the group chat.
Is it free?
Yes — searching, comparisons, mini-league views and sharing are all free. We may add optional paid extras over time (things like league upgrades or supporter perks), but the core product stays free. That's a design principle, not a promise of convenience.
How do I find my team?
Four ways, all in the same search bar: your manager name, your team name, your FPL ID number, or just paste the URL of your team's points page from the official site or app. If your name is common, the results show team names and ranks so you can pick yourself out.
Do I need an account? What do you store about me?
No accounts, no passwords, nothing to sign up for. Your saved team and pinned rivalries live in your own browser, on your own device. The team data in comparisons is the public data the official game already publishes. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Does it work for any mini-league?
Any public classic league in the official game — open your league, and every member is one tap from a head-to-head. Big leagues work too; the league page paginates the way the official game does.
How live is "live" during a gameweek?
Points land as the official game records them, bonus is projected from the live bonus system standings, and rank movement is estimated in real time. Estimates are labelled — when the game finalises the gameweek, the numbers settle to official.
What is "You vs The Algorithm"?
The official game quietly publishes its own expected points for every player before each deadline — and those predictions vanish once the deadline passes. FPL Rivals captures them at the moment they're final, then scores them against reality. It's the cleanest answer to "would the spreadsheet have beaten you?" — sometimes yes, satisfyingly often no.
Can I look back at last season?
Yes. Finished seasons are archived so a rivalry can be replayed gameweek by gameweek — the title race, the collapse, the week that decided it. Where archived data has been reconstructed rather than recorded live, the site labels it.
Why can't I find my brand-new team?
Right at the start of a season, the newest teams can take a little while to appear in name search while the index catches up with new registrations. Your FPL ID or team URL always works immediately.
Can I share the cards?
That's what they're for. Cards render as images sized for messaging apps — send them, post them, print one and leave it on your mate's desk. Episodes and reports also have shareable links.
Are you affiliated with the Premier League?
No. FPL Rivals is an independent fan-built site — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Premier League or the official Fantasy Premier League game. All statistics come from the official game and are shown for analysis.
